COMPANY BACKGROUND.

Founded in 2002 by Raymond Williams and Edith and Jim Holmes, Durham Marble and Ceramic Tiles Ltd. has expanded rapidly from an original position of having 2 members of staff to the current 30.

Dedication and Quality of Service has brought about this expansion, but it has been a carefully controlled expansion which has not resulted in any reduction in our commitment to total customer-focused business operations.

The organisation of our company gives us the capacity for complete flexibility when meeting customer needs.

Whether it be a small contract for the supply and/or installation of tiling in a domestic setting, or meeting the stringent requirements of one of our major construction companies, we apply our dedication and professionalism at the same high level.

We can supply tiles of any type and quality, and our showroom contains samples of thousands of items. We guarantee the highest possible standards of installation.

We are Members of the Tile Association, CHAS and Constructionline and all our operatives are now fully approved to CSCS Standards.

All staff are assessed to the relevant NVQ Level and a high priority is given to both internal and external re-training as materials and processes change and develop.   With each team member having training plans for their personal development chartered in a structured format.
